Who Writes SchemeWala
SchemeWala is a small, independent publication. The people listed here write and maintain the guides, and are responsible for correcting them. Each guide shows its author, its publication date and, where recorded, the date its facts were last checked and the official sources used.
Abhijit is the founder and lead research editor at SchemeWala, specializing in Indian public policy, direct benefit transfer (DBT) systems, and rural welfare economics. He has tracked and analyzed central and state government notifications for over 5 years.
How guides are checked and corrected
Guides are written from official notifications, scheme guidelines and departmental portals. When a guide has been re-checked under our current process, it lists the sources used and the date they were checked; guides that have not yet been re-checked say so.
