About the Scheme

Launched during the pandemic to help street vendors restart their businesses, PM SVANidhi is a micro-credit scheme providing working capital loans without any collateral.

High-Value Insider Info: Revised Tranches & Subsidy Traps

The Revised Loan Tranches (2026 Update): You do not get ₹50,000 immediately. You must build trust. 1st Tranche: You get up to ₹15,000 (increased from the old ₹10,000 limit). 2nd Tranche: If you repay the first loan on time, you can apply for up to ₹25,000 (increased from ₹20,000). 3rd Tranche:* Repay the second, and you get access to ₹50,000.
The 7% Subsidy Trap: The government promises a 7% interest subsidy (credited directly to your bank account every quarter). Hidden Rule: This subsidy instantly stops if you miss EMIs and your bank account is declared an NPA (Non-Performing Asset). You only get the subsidy if your account status remains 'Standard'.
The LoR Secret: If you are a vendor but don't have a municipal ID card, you need a Letter of Recommendation (LoR). Never pay a tout for a paper LoR. Physical LoRs are entirely invalid. The LoR must be applied for and generated digitally on the official portal by the Town Vending Committee (TVC).

Authenticate using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Fill in your vending details and submit.
You can also visit your nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) where the operator will fill out the online form for a nominal fee of ₹20 to ₹30.
